Jigsaw Method and Catching Up!

Hello all!

First of all: you have probably come to this post as you received an email to tell you that this blog has been updated. As I mentioned before - this blog will become more and more important as time goes on. It will share thinking and examples of teaching and learning to help us improve at school. Please read and digest, comment and be ready to discuss and share ideas in staff meetings and at INSET.

Secondly: some of you naughty people haven't completed the survey I asked you to - click on this link to complete it. Look at the previous post to remember the definitions if you need to. I have given you until the 14th April to do it.

Finally, something to look at. Follow this link to see a presentation about something called the Jigsaw Method. Definately something that would be good to see used from at least the Early Years upwards in varying degrees. See what you think. Watch the videos with the pedagogies discussed in mind. (Make sure you click on the play button to make the presentation work - you may think nothing is happening if you don't! Lesson learned by me there - I'll make sure it's a bit more automatic next time!)
